BLEED – In printing, bleed is artwork / printing that goes beyond the edge of where the sheet will be trimmed. All bleeds should be extended at least 0.125” or 3mm for offset printing and 0.2″ or 5mm for digital printing.

FINAL ARTWORK – Some companies use the abbreviation FA. The final artwork refers to the latest version of a digital / softcopy file before it is sent to print. Once the final artwork is given it’s approval, the next step would be actual production.

REAM – Based on International Standards, a ream of paper consists of 500 sheets of the same size and quality.

WOVE – Paper with a smooth finish that has no texture is said to be wove finish.
