Tim’s Fine Catering Custom Canape Box

Even with the easing up of the current Covid-19 situation, wedding solemnisations and celebrations have been limited to 10 or less people. Some couples have had no choice but to give up or postpone their weddings. However, a collaboration between Tim’s Fine Catering and PapyPress has made celebrations possible again. Together they have launched a beautiful Wedding Announcement Package that can be delivered to friends and family that were unable to attend the celebrations.

Letterpress Wedding Announcement cards are printed on thick cotton stock and comes in a matching envelope. Together with the announcement cards is The Artisan Canape Box. This box contains a selection of the most exquisite canapes handcrafted by Chef Tim Meijers.

The meticulously crafted box (designed and produced by PYPR) holds 12 carefully curated canapes. Each cup has to sit nicely in its place while it travels from Tim’s kitchen to each individual recipient. The boxes had to be sturdy and light. Made from paper based materials, the boxes were also recyclable.

The cover of the box was case bound to give it its strength. Inside the box was a tray that was carefully designed to minimize as much handling as possible during the forming up phase. The box was also able to handle the cold temperatures of a fridge while it waited to be delivered.
